Montes Outer Limits Cinsault “sources” its raw material from the Itata Valley of Chile and is aged for 5 months in third-use barrels so that the oak aromas do not cover the primary aromas of the wine. On the nose we find notes of ripe blackberry and candied cherry, quince paste and some dairy hints. On the palate the wine is light and very balanced, with “bright” acidity and almost non-existent tannins. Enjoy it in a glass of Burgundy around 14 to 15 degrees Celsius.
