With cellars located in the charming hilltop town of Sancerre, Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron have vineyards mainly in the eastern part of Sancerre on hard, igneous soils, as well as smaller holdings on softer limestone and clay soils. The bottling of the “village” Sancerre draws from both terroirs to create a delicate, mineral and thoroughly satisfying wine. One of the few estates in Sancerre to harvest entirely by hand, this wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged in tank for a minimum of 4 months before bottling.

Pale straw yellow color, with green highlights. On the nose, citrus aromas (grapefruit and lemon zest), along with notes of herbs and minerality. On the palate, elegant, with beautiful acidity, with a long citrus and mineral aftertaste.
