Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is produced at a distillery, Glenfiddich, built from the ground up with William Grant laying every stone. Glenfiddich means valley of the stag and honours this name with a stag's head engraved on each of its bottles.
Glenfiddich 18 Year Old will be matured for a minimum of 18 years in two types of casks, Oloroso ex-sherry and American ex-bourbon casks. Its aroma is rich and full with citrus fruit dominating, accompanied by notes of cereal, chocolate and cinnamon.
In the taste of Glenfiddich 18 Year Old, citrus fruits will dominate again, accompanied by candies, cereals and sweet spices, leading us to a slightly spicy aftertaste, with ginger and cinnamon occupying our palate for a while.
