Chairman Reserve Spiced Rum contains local spices and fruits including cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, coconut, lemon and orange. Also added is Richeria Grandis - known locally as "Bois Bande" - a bark known in the Caribbean as a powerful aphrodisiac to give an extra kick to rum. After distilling the rum, in copper urns and in column distilleries, it ages for about 4 years in former bourbon barrels. After aging, the aforementioned fruits and spices are immersed in the rum, resulting in a complex and balanced rum with notes of spices.
