PLANTERAY OFTD OVERPROOF RUM 69% 70cl

Planteray O.F.T.D. (Old Fashioned Traditional Dark) is a heavy-bodied, 69% ABV (138 proof) overproof rum. It was created by planteray Rum Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel in collaboration with six leading rum experts, including Jeff "Beachbum" Berry and David Wondrich. Formerly known as Plantation O.F.T.D., the product remains identical following the brand's name change to Planteray in early 2024.

Description

Composition: A high-strength blend of rums from Guyana (Demerara), Jamaica (funky pot still), and Barbados.
Nose: Intense aromas of coffee, orange, plum, and truffles.
Palate: Explosive notes of caramel cream, dark chocolate, and vanilla, followed by cinnamon, raisins, nutmeg, and smoky molasses.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering dark chocolate, clove, and charred oak.
