Lagavulin 16years is perhaps the most characteristic example of the microclimate of the island of Islay in Western Scotland.
Description
Bright amber color, intensely smoky, typical of southern Islay. Aromas of sweet spices, sea plants and creamy vanilla. Mouth rich and thick with noticeable malt and a wonderful sweetness. Long, deep, dry, spicy finish with a gentle touch of smoky peat.
